a recent splintering crack ricocheted
through my soul’s precarious pavement
The fault of fate freezing
my bones to inept circuitous
ponderings- drowned lily pads
blotting any monet impressions
clouding my eyes with charred-truce
droplets ever pouring mother falls:
jet-streams across the planes of
my agonized face

that crack pierced the last outward facade of
normalcy
normal-see

gee-oh monkeyed glimpses
gone bananas…refused help

she shades her fantasy lies in
coloured parasouls of deception
heartstrings ripped ass-under
twisted into knots
by mocking marionettes

seeping festering mental illness
into the offspring of my loins
untreated, it poisons and distances

a triple whammy my hands are tied
and my love waits in a chokehold
of gravity
beyond Newton’s reach
